To qualify for a RealPeople or RealBrand account, you must be a notable person or brand.
- Authentic: Represent a real person, registered business or entity.
- Unique: Represent the unique presence of the person, business or entity. Only one RealPeople or RealBrand account per person, business or entity may be issued (at launch we will not be able to support country or language specific RealPeople and RealBrand accounts but those will come later).
- Complete: Your account must have a bio, and a profile photo when you apply.
- Notable: Your account must represent a well-known, highly searched for person, brand or entity. We review accounts that are featured in multiple news sources, and we don't consider paid or sponsored media content as sources for review.
In addition to following BeReal’s Terms of Use and Community Standards, you should be aware that you:
- Must enable two-factor authentication.
- May not transfer the RealPeople or RealBrand account to another account, person or Brand.
- Must not impersonate other people or brands.
- If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must provide consent for your participation in the RealPeople or RealBrand program.
- Once you get a RealPeople or RealBrand account, you may not change the username on your account, and you cannot transfer the account to a different person unless done so by contacting, and with approval from, our support team.
Keep in mind:
- Even if your account is eligible, submitting a request doesn't guarantee that you will get a RealPeople or RealBrand account.
- Submitting multiple requests doesn’t guarantee that you will get a RealPeople or RealBrand account and applying for a RealPeople or RealBrand account multiple times before receiving a decision will cancel your application.
- If you receive a RealPeople or RealBrand account by using false or misleading information during the application process, we will disable your account.
