Profile Picture

Your picture is visible on your profile to everyone, friends and non-friends. It helps your friends recognize you. Ideally, you should be the only person in the photo. However, if you use a picture with others, please ask their permission first. 

Add or change your Profile Photo

iOS

1. Go to your profile.
2. Tap your profile picture to enter the “Edit Profile” page.
3. Tap your profile picture again.
4. Choose today’s BeReal, an image from your gallery, or take a photo.
   

Android

1. Go to your profile.
2. Tap the 3 dot icon to go to Settings.
3. Tap your profile picture to enter the “Edit Profile” page.
4. Tap "Update profile picture".
5. Choose today’s BeReal, an image from your gallery, or take a photo.

Remove your Profile Photo

iOS

1. Go to your profile.
2. Tap your profile picture to enter the “Edit Profile” page.
3. Tap your profile picture again.
4. Tap “Delete Profile Picture.”

Android

1. Go to your profile.
2. Tap the 3 dot icon to go to Settings.
3. Tap your profile picture to enter the “Edit Profile” page.
4. Tap "Update profile picture".
5. Choose "Delete Profile Picture".
